Delft - Our Dutch Delft is from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Delft is tin glazed pottery which, by its nature, is fragile. Typically it has frits, small chips and/or minor repairs.

Chinese Export Porcelain - Chinese export porcelain plates were frequently finished with a very thin edge that often, over time, developed fine small chips called "frits". Some of our Chinese export plates have these very small frits.
